The Kiwanis Club of Sacramento Suburban, in Cal-Nev-Ha Division 44, is a corporation of Kiwanis International, a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world, one child and one community at a time. Founded in 1952, we are a service club encompassing Arden Arcade and East Sacramento County. The Sacramento Suburban Kiwanis Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

The Kiwanis Club of Sacramento Suburban is the corporation often referred to as Administrative. Funded through members’ semi-annual dues and Happy and Sad Bucks, Administrative includes these subcommittees: Budget & Finance; Programs; Membership and Sunshine; Social, Fellowship, House & Reception; Interclub; and Communications.

The Sacramento Suburban Kiwanis Foundation is the corporation funded through annual fundraising activities, including our Art Fiesta; Tasting, Treasures, & Tunes; and the Creelman-Francisco Golf Classic (which supports the Kiwanis Family House). The Foundation includes these subcommittees: Community Service; Youth Service; Service Leadership Program; Gail Bash Committee; and Kiwanis Family House. Service projects start in and are coordinated through the committees.

Our officers include President, President-Elect, Vice President, Past President, Treasurer, Secretary, and four directors. Our Board of Directors, meeting monthly, determine club policies and activities; approve new members; approve the annual budget and payment of club bills; counsel the club committees; and is responsible for the general management and welfare of the club.

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 12:10 p.m. at Seasons 52 at Arden Fair Mall in the Sonoma Room (1689 Arden Way, Suite 1065 Sacramento, CA). Our meetings provide education through speakers from our community as well as fellowship with a great group of dedicated volunteers. We would love to have you as our guest, and your first lunch as a guest is on us!
